An explanation, for those of you who aren't from our hometown...It's a poster for the miniseries based on the book based on the magazine articles based on the experiences of a reporter who rode along with a group of marines containing our very own Joshua Ray Person. And now we have the surreal experience of watching an actor on TV doing his best to portray a guy we've known forever.

Which means we are subscribing to HBO for a few months.

woah, that's pretty crazy! you'll have to let us know if it's a real likeness. the whole issue of friends on tv freaks me out. i'm sure it'll happen to me someday...

are the sunglasses accurate? if so, i wonder if they were inspired by scott weiland?

That's pretty cool. And if we weren't in Nevada for July, we, too, would be ordering HBO for the mini-series.

Now I really wish I had HBO.
